## Prepare the entries with your studios.

### Keep a roster you can use again

Maintain studio, dancer and professional rosters instead of rebuilding a spreadsheet for every event. Studio and regional organizer accounts provide separate workspaces, with participating studios contributing to their events.

### Build each dancer’s entries

Plan Pro/Am and student/student partnerships, select dances and categories, and track entry targets. Open and Closed routines and the event’s level and age settings help organize who is entered in what.

### Review the workload before event day

Check shared instructors, attendance windows and partner availability while building the entry plan. Allocation suggestions help distribute dances; the organizer reviews the choices before using them.

## Move from entries to the competition floor.

### Build and review the heat schedule

Arrange compatible entries into heats around floor capacity, dance order and participant availability. Review scheduling conflicts and any entries that could not be placed, then publish the schedule when it is ready.

### Give people their own heat lists

Prepare personal heat lists and printable schedules so dancers and instructors can find their entries. CSV and other event exports support the desk team’s checks and reporting.

### Keep judges and the MC on the same heat

Browser-based judge and MC views follow the active heat for the room. Judges record marks or a did-not-dance status, with support for panel or split judging and a history of scoring changes.

### Prepare results and awards

Review marks and placements, then prepare competitor, teacher and studio award standings using the event’s settings. Keep the event’s entries, results and invoices available for follow-up.

## Plan for the practical details.

### Handle changes at the event

Preview the effect of a withdrawal or professional replacement on upcoming entries before applying it. Completed judging records stay associated with the performances that were actually danced.

### Use a planned local event setup

For events that need it, Ready2Compete supports a local event kit on a dedicated computer and venue network. The cloud-to-local handoff and return are deliberate steps to rehearse with the event team, including the judge and MC devices.

## Choose the setup around your event.

Tell us how many studios take part, how entries are collected, how judging works and what equipment will be available. We can walk through the preparation and event-day workflow with you.

Ready2Compete has its own organizer and studio portal. [Visit the Ready2Compete website](https://ready2compete.me/) for account access and current product terms.

## Practical questions

### How is Ready2Compete different from Ready2Dance?

Ready2Compete focuses on preparing and running the competition: rosters, entries, heats, judging and awards. Ready2Dance focuses on the participant experience, including live heat tracking, name search, personal schedules and performance services. We can explain which fits your event; they are separate products.

### Can several studios take part?

Yes. A regional organizer can coordinate an event with participating studios, while studio workspaces keep rosters and entries organized. The access and event setup are agreed before use.

### Does recording paid entries take a card payment?

No. Entry and invoice records help the organizer track the event. Recording an entry or its payment status is not a card transaction.

### Is the preview connected to an event?

No. It illustrates a small heat-planning example with fictional entries. It does not change a real schedule, collect registrations or save scores.

## Tell me what you’re planning.

Share your event date and venue, your studio plans, or the software you’d like to see. I’ll help you work out the setup.
